Katie Zanita Clark is an equity-driven education leader whose career spans teaching, instructional coaching, school administration, and district leadership — always in service of historically underserved and diverse communities.
Most recently, Katie served as Director of Teaching and Learning at Para Los Niños in Los Angeles, leading multi-site teams through LAUSD Oversight and Charter Renewals. She has also led district-wide curriculum adoptions, built instructional coaching programs from the ground up, and taught master's-level courses for educators.

Katie Zanita Clark is an equity-driven education leader with over 20 years of experience serving historically underserved and diverse communities as a teacher, instructional coach, school administrator, and district leader. Her career has been defined by a deep commitment to rigorous, inclusive education and a proven ability to lead complex, high-stakes processes that directly impact student outcomes.
Most recently, Katie served as Director of Teaching and Learning at Para Los Niños, a Los Angeles-based nonprofit operating charter schools serving students in TK through 8th grade. In that role, she orchestrated multi-site teams of administrators and partners through the demanding documentation, compliance, and site visit processes associated with LAUSD Oversight and Charter Renewals. Her ability to coordinate teams, build a shared vision, analyze data, and write narratives that paint a full picture of a school's community contributions make her a trusted leader in the charter world.
In addition to her work at Para Los Niños, Katie has supported the documentation, presentations, and speeches for Charter Renewals at several other charter organizations, bringing her signature combination of strategic clarity and compelling narrative to each engagement.
Beyond compliance and renewal work, Katie has led district-wide curriculum adoptions, built instructional coaching programs from the ground up, and developed data analysis frameworks that empower teachers to make meaningful instructional adjustments.
